About the sport: The philosophy of the Blue Devil Softball Program is: * Create an atmosphere which allows our athletes to take risks to succeed. * Develop fundamentally sound and strategically aware athletes. * Prepare athletes physically, mentally and emotionally for the demands of high level competition. * Be successful both on the practice and game field and, more importantly, in preparing our athletes to meet the demands of life.

Coaches Comment: Head Coach Jerry Humphreys is in his 11th season with the Blue Devils. Over this time the Blue Devils have been to the District and Regional Tournaments 7 times and competed at the State Tournament in 2007, 2009 & 2010 -- finishing 3rd in both 2009 & 2010. Over this time the Blue Devils have compiled a conference record of 120 wins to 52 losses, 176 wins and 86 losses overall. Sport News: FR and JV teams have wrapped up successful seasons -- finishing 20-0 and 14-3 respectively. Congratulations to our coaches and players. The Varsity Team won the District Tournament this past weekend with wins over Wenatchee (5-0) and Richland (10-1). This is the 2nd District title in the last 3 years. The Blue Devils compete in the Regional Tournament to be held at Columbia Playfields in Richland on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Their first game will be at 3:00pm vs the winner of Wenatchee and the GSL #2 seed.
